Hill Rivkins Obtains Jury Verdict and Judgment Providing a Full Recovery, Attorney's Fees, Costs, and Interest

Hill Rivkins’ Houston office obtained a jury verdict and final judgment on behalf of its client, J.D. Fields & Company, Inc., in a jury trial completed in Houston, Texas on July 31, 2014. The plaintiff, J.D. Fields & Company, Inc. sought and obtained a jury verdict on damages arising out of a commercial dispute for breach of a sales contract involving the sale of a steel product-line pipe. Senior partner, Steven P. Vangel with the support from associate, Robert G. Moll, successfully presented this case before a jury in the 80^th Judicial District Court in Harris County, Texas. The final judgment provides a full recovery to the client in an amount of approximately $300,000.00 and includes an award for attorney’s fees, in the amount of $148,500.00, costs and pre-judgment and post-judgment interest.
