CHMM, LLC v. Freeman Marine Equip., Inc., ­­791 F.3d 1059 (9th Cir. June 29, 2015) -- Successful appeal in which the Ninth Circuit determined that yacht's interior outfit, which was purchased from and installed by owner's contractors, is not part of the relevant product purchased from the shipbuilder but rather is "other property" for which damages may be recovered under maritime products liability law.
 
In re LPG/C DESERT ORCHID, 2015 WL 1958925 (S.M.A. No. 4253, April 10, 2015) - Successful New York arbitration of complex matter involving contamination to a liquefied gas cargo of polymer grade propylene.  On behalf of Charterer, obtained final award of all recoverable damages resulting from contamination of cargo, together with attorney's fees, costs, and reimbursement of arbitrators' fees.  Further, the award denied Owner's claim for demurrage and detention.
 
In re M/V DG Harmony, 394 F. Supp. 2d 649 (S.D.N.Y. 2005) -- Lead counsel for all cargo interests in major catastrophic vessel explosion and fire involving issues of shipper liability.
 
International Multifoods Corp. v. Commercial Union Ins. Co., 309 F.3d 76 (2d Cir. 2002) -- Successful defense of marine cargo underwriter under FC&S policy provision.
 
Protection Mut. Ins. Co. v. Silgan Plastics Co., 2000 WL 1170132 (S.D.N.Y. 2000) -- Successful prosecution of coverage under marine cargo policy on behalf of insured.
 
University of California Press v. G.A. Ins. Co. of New York, 1996 WL 497143 (E.D.N.Y. 1996) -- Direct action against insurer of a bankrupt property owner in a premises liability case involving relief from stay in bankruptcy and additional insured issues.
 
Lembaga Enterprises, Inc. v. Cace Trucking & Warehouse Inc., 320 NJ Super. 501 (NJ Super. 1999) -- First established as a rule under New Jersey law that proof of loss of goods while in the custody of a warehouseman gives rise to a presumption of conversion.
 
In Re Crysen/Montenay Energy Co., 902 F.2d 1098 (2d Cir. 1990) -- Whether tort cause of action properly was an asset belonging exclusively to the debtor's estate.
 
Continental Grain Co. v. Puerto Rico Maritime Shipping Authority, 972 F.2d 426 (1st Cir. 1992) -- Complicated cargo action involving sinking of bulk vessel. Oral charter agreement and question of allocation of fault under special charter.
 
In re M/V Aspen Trader -- Jointly conducted arbitration in Santiago, Chile, involving the grounding of an ore carrier in coastal waters near India.
 
John Brown Engineering, Ltd v. Hermann Ludwig, Inc., 1991 A.M.C. 2450 (D.S.C. 1991) -- Successful defense of a freight forwarder against multimillion dollar claim of negligence by customer in a project shipment.
